Weldon's has the John Wayne
Commemorative Saddle #139 in stock!
Honoring the 100th Birthday Anniversary of John Wayne, Circle Y Saddles, licensed by Wayne Enterprises, has crafted a Collector’s Edition hand tooled saddle to commemorate the film legend’s contribution to the American cowboy way of life. The saddle is inspired by John Wayne’s own saddle on display at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City. Circle Y Saddles, America’s Leading Saddle Brand, proudly offers the saddle in limited production for collectors and western lifestyle enthusiasts. Exclusively selected by Wayne Enterprises for the project, Circle Y craftsmen worked carefully using only the finest leathers and materials for this special saddle. “We are proud to be a part of the Circle Y John Wayne 100th Anniversary Collector’s Edition Saddle. From his work in films to raising Hereford cattle at his 26 Bar Ranch in Arizona, my dad always appreciated the necessity of a quality saddle in his life, and Circle Y was an obvious choice to make this great saddle,” said Ethan Wayne, managing member of Wayne Enterprises. The attention to detail Circle Y includes on the John Wayne Collector’s Edition Saddle is a leather braided riata. The hand tooled floral pattern covers the entire saddle, including the engraved brass rigging. Sterling silver Mexican Pesos adorn the saddle as conchos. The cantle back has a custom silver and gold saddle plate noting the individual collector’s edition number of the John Wayne saddle, insuring authenticity. Additionally, collectors will receive a plaque with personalization of the saddle to its owner, a custom crafted wood saddle stand, informative DVD, and book about John Wayne’s film history. One of the most recognizable brands in the industry, Circle Y has a long standing reputation for building quality saddles for a variety of western horse disciplines. “John Wayne’s name is known world wide and we are pleased to be a part of the celebration of such a great American icon,” said Steve Tucker, owner of Circle Y Saddles. Circle Y Saddles are found in every horse venue, from the show ring to the trail. Roping, barrel racing, cutting, reining, ranch, trail, and show saddles are made with the highest level of craftsmanship and design. Made in the USA in the heart of Texas, Circle Y Saddles continues the heritage and tradition of quality saddle making.
